I had the pleasure of meeting up with this little lady right before her first birthday. She was so cooperative for her photo session, I love what we were able to get! And of course, she has the cutest smile and blue eyes--and an adorable wardrobe to complement them! Here are a few (ok, more like quite a few) of my favorites from her session. I love one year olds!

McCready Family
So, many of my recent posts have contained photos of children who I photographed as newborns. But this, my friends, was THE first newborn I ever got the pleasure of photographing. He stole my heart then and things haven't changed much. And just like all the other babies, he has grown up at record speed! Wow, they grow fast! But I had a great time with Jacob AND the rest of his family last weekend. :) He now has some seriously killer blue eyes and Lizzy has a dimpled smile that can turn the gray sky blue. What a great looking family!
And we'll call this one "the one that got away"... There are far more interesting things to do when you're a little boy than have your picture taken!

DeGraff Family
If you're thinking you've seen these beautiful people before, it's because you have. :) Erika & Jeff and their family are becoming frequent visitors here on the blog. You may recognize them from last month's Trash the Dress session or their whole family from their Spring family pictures. No matter what, though, I must say my camera and I couldn't be happier! It's always fun getting together with them no matter the time or location--I love this family and love that photography has allowed me to get to know them!

McDonald Family
Yet another great session in the Quarter--I'm having lots of fun there! So the McDonalds were scheduled for pictures the same day we were supposedly going to get some hurricane named Ida moving in... So the night before the session, the forecast basically said there was 99.9% chance of rain for the morning, so things weren't looking good. But wouldn't ya know, we woke up and there wasn't a drop of rain to be seen and we got the session in without a hitch! The family photo gods were smiling on us that day, I suppose! And what a great time we had, I love these guys. Parker was one of my first newborns I photographed last December and I just loved getting him in front of my lens again...along with the rest of his crew. What a good looking bunch!
