McDonald Family

Yet another great session in the Quarter--I'm having lots of fun there! So the McDonalds were scheduled for pictures the same day we were supposedly going to get some hurricane named Ida moving in... So the night before the session, the forecast basically said there was 99.9% chance of rain for the morning, so things weren't looking good. But wouldn't ya know, we woke up and there wasn't a drop of rain to be seen and we got the session in without a hitch! The family photo gods were smiling on us that day, I suppose! And what a great time we had, I love these guys. Parker was one of my first newborns I photographed last December and I just loved getting him in front of my lens again...along with the rest of his crew. What a good looking bunch!

Gray & Annie

Another fun French Quarter session! I got to meet up with these two little cuties for some holiday pictures. I first met Annie when she was just two weeks old, and of course, she has gone and grown up so fast! Now she's about as happy and smiley as they come and has one amazing set of blue eyes. And lucky me, I got to meet her adoring big sister this time. They looked darling in their matching dresses, and I'd say they were the biggest attraction in the Quarter that evening as everyone stopped to say how gorgeous they were. I couldn't agree more!

Anderson Family

All right folks, be prepared for lots of new posts here on the blog the next two weeks. I've been having lots of fun and am now doing lots of editing!

But to start things off, here is a peek at the Andersons. And aren't they gorgeous?! We had a great session in the French Quarter and I couldn't get over how photogenic these folks are. I feel lucky to know them and to have had the chance to photograph them. And oh my, their little Grace just melts me...she's so sweet!

Mr. Sam--2 Year Portraits

This little man is all mine and he turned 2 almost two months ago. And it's taken me that long to get his portraits taken! But now they are done and I'm so glad, even if it meant I fit in his session at my very busiest time. We hit up the park for a really quick photo shoot last week. He was not an easy client either! He definitely gave me a run for my money, so I was thrilled to have some keepers when I got them all uploaded to my computer. I sure do love this little guy and I'm a little sad that he's growing up so fast!

Christine & Hampton

I got to meet up with Christine and her dog Hampton last Saturday for a morning of pictures. And what a great time we had! Hampton is definitely one well-loved pet. What a lucky dog! :)
