 Another group of shots from Idaho.  This is my darling little sister and her hubby.  They are expecting their first little baby--a boy--in just 5 weeks.   We took a few minutes to try to capture that cute little baby bump of hers...which was hard to do since it is SO little!  :)  I can't possibly tell you how excited I am for these two.  They are going to be great parents and I have confidence that they are going to teach him young who his favorite aunt is!  Love you guys!!

Robinson Family

Ok, where do I even begin with this?  This family is another gorgeous family I got to meet up with in Idaho, but our friendship started a long, long ways from Idaho.  I met Brigit when my husband and I moved to Iowa in 2003 for him to begin law school.  This was the first time we moved far away from family and we were lucky enough to make some of the dearest friends while we were there.  It sure helped ease us in to life away from our families!  Some of our greatest memories from our time in Iowa involve these people right here.  And wouldn't you know, 9 years later, they are living in my Idaho home town!  I can not tell you how fun it was to see them all again.  It has been so much fun to catch up.  I absolutely LOVED this session.  Thanks, Robinsons...your family is as beautiful as ever!

Diaz Family

I just returned from another trip to Idaho this year.  I was lucky enough to head out for some fantastic Fall weather.  We were so lucky we got Fall weather instead of Winter weather, considering how many pictures I needed to take while I was there!  This is the first family I got to meet up with for photos while I was there.  And I think they get the award for the coldest session I've ever photographed!  It's not very often that I take pictures in Louisiana when the temperature reads 38 degrees.  :)  I was worried I might freeze to death, but it was much more pleasant than I expected!  And luckily these guys sure didn't seem to mind too much either.  Thanks, Diaz family!

Heidi {One Year}

Oh my goodness, look who's ONE!  Little Miss Heidi is already one and I'm not sure how that's possible!  We marked the big milestone with some photos and this little girl was so happy and we had so much fun!  Happy first year, Miss Heidi!

Mairin

Meet little Ms. Mairin.  I can not tell you how amazing she was for her first photo session!  At 5 days old, she put on an awesome performance.  She slept like a dream and allowed us to get all sort of great shots.  And to top it off, I got to see her darling big sister Maeve again...it seems like just yesterday I was photographing her as a baby and now she is a proud 3 year old big sister!  Welcome to the world, Mairin!  I am so glad I got to meet you!

Caswell Family

 

Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to drive West for a while and meet up with these beautiful people.  After the year they spent in Texas, we got to pick up where we left off with another photo session.  And this time, I got to visit a new place and boy, oh boy, was it amazing!  The campus of the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau was absolutely breathtaking.  The kids have grown up so much since I saw them last and it was so fun to see them!  Thanks for having me come, I LOVED seeing you all again!
